There is a really good tire jump for sale on ebay that's made by a woman who exhibits weims. I think I spent $75 for a nice tire jump (uses 2" PVC and drain tubing like WeiMe said to use), a 6 pole set of weaves, and a jump.

I'd like a dogwalk b/c that's what my big girl has trouble with, but we wouldn't have any space left in our yard to walk! Very Happy

Bluepup- Wow, I didn't know you were so close to your excellent fast title! That is awesome! Scout is still a bit of a Velcro dog. I think we will try open fast in the spring. We are attending a Bud Huston seminar in October. I am hoping to get some expert help with the table. We can get the downs but not the sits Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes I can see why you don't do much in the summer. The heat definitely makes it hard to motivate Scout. We have a trial here in Pocatello this weekend and it it supposed to be pretty cool so I am crossing my fingers! I am sure those double Q's are just around the corner for you guys!

G-Smith- Are you anywhere near Biloxi? Looks like there is a good club there.

We started agility classes about 2 months ago and are in the advance beg class now. Mischa was great yesterday after she got to say hi to a new dog ! ... Our course was : 3 jumps, tunnel, jump, tire, table. We were trying to practice how to send our dogs without having to be next to them... gets kind of tricky! But I cannnnt wait till we get through to competition its going to be a blast.

We finished our first beginners 6 week class and will be repeating it in another week. Storm doesn't seem to like the class. She loves it when we practice at home, but the actual class she has so much trouble concentrating and can't sit nicely while other dogs are taking their time. It's like she has doggy ADD. There are so many smells and distractions, I can't get her to focus on me. The teacher says we have a dominance issue and she doesn't respect me, so I have really been reinforcing NILF at home. I just think she's a weim and there are so much going on that she wants to check it out. We're going to keep going. She loves it when it is finally her turn and she enjoys it when we work at home. Just got to get her used to distractions, I'm sure there are just as many at a trial.

We did the A frame for the first time today. Scramble, scramble, scramble. He was perfect the first time and then jumped off the next three. But we had a blast.

We did three together today. Jump, tunnel, table.
