Dear Fellow Weimaraner Addicts,
I am sending out a desperate plea on behalf of our beloved Dusty Dawg. We moved from Tasmania to Western Australia two years ago. We've been renting a great house since then. Unfortunately the owner has decided to demolish and rebuild.
In addition to our two poochies we also have a 4yo son and a 5.5yo daughter. We decided it was most important to keep them at their current daycare and school. There is precious little to rent within the school catchment area.
We have been offered a house for lease - with no dogs. We are gutted. My husband has had Beags for 11 years and Dusty has been our dog since he was 8 weeks old. But our unfurred children have to have priority, so we need to take the house.
Our plea is this - would anyone be willing to take Dusty and/or Beags for one year? We hope that we could buy a house in one year, but who knows the property market. :-} If at all possible, we would like to be able to take them back but if that isn't possible we would like to know someone else loves our dog/s.
Please let me know if anyone is able to help us. Dusty and Beags will need a new home by 18 October 2008.
Much appreciated,
Sandra. |

With great regret, have to give them away forever. It breaks my heart to think that we might not ever be able to have our pootchies back. My weimie was born on the day my husband and I got engaged. He is soooo special. |

And there is no convincing the owner to allow pets if you pay like a security fee, etc? Sometimes they will work with you on stuff like that here in the US, not sure about Australia though. I couldn't imagine giving up my dogs. |
