We don't. We have only fed Cloud raw Chicken. As with all things raw, you can get an infestation of worms--well as a human, i can only assume that dog is capable of getting that kind parasite as well.

No raw pork, only chicken, and beef so far. Also raw egg, shell and all.

I heard raw eggs were bad if it was a young dog, like under 1 years or 2 years old. Any truth to that?

I feed it all, raw.

Pork necks, loins, feet... etc. I feed raw eggs, shell and all. I get the eggs with added Omega, while I'm at it.

Been doing it since he was weaned (by his breeder) he's now 14 months old and gets compliments on his coat and teeth everywhere we go Smile

What to feed or not feed your dog is subjective. Everyone has an opinion on what is good, bad or indifferent. I do what I feel is right for my personal situation. Feeding raw, a combination there of, store bought, ultra premium kibble or canned is a decision you will have to make based on your own research and financial situation. As well as how your pet tolerates your food of choice. As to your direct question, are raw eggs bad, it depends on who you ask. Very Happy

I also feed all raw. Rocky gets pork about twice a month and he likes it just the same as chicken and he tolerates it well also. I have always fed him a raw egg a week with shell because calcium is important to have in a raw diet.

The people we get our raw food from, Love Your Pet, were _very_ adamant that we not ever give Rosko Pork. I didn't get into details about why not with them as the way they were like 'ooohhhh noooooo' about it was enough to convince me. Apparently, dogs were never meant to digest pork well (which is probably why Rosko only gets farty when we give him 'porky chews').

Interesting, Rosko. I wonder what their theory is on that? Hmm.

My breeders (well not "my" lol Logan's) have been long time raw dog food feeders and they have done a lot of research in it and feel pork is quite safe. They also believe in variety though (not pork... or anything really, everyday). They things they can get a hold of verges on amazing, in my opinion!

Anyway, I feed pork fairly often and he tolerates it well. It's like anything though... too much of anything can be a bad thing. And also just because he tolerates it doesn't mean another dog will.

Pork is actually considered a hypoallergenic meat source. N.V. uses it in the Rabbit raw. Pork livers. Here's a link about raw pork.
