Lani,
Know you are moving but there is a walking FT every year in Reno. You can find them around especially at Hastings in Sacramento area. When you move, I am not sure what is available but of course all your contacts there can help. You also do not HAVE to ride even in a horseback trial, altho it's better for the dog if you do.
Most Pointers and Setters don't run AKC, but if you run all breed you may be up against GSPs and such. But if you do the Weim trials they will usually close stakes.
Anyway, I know you'll have lots of help in the field area (and agility and obedience), HAVE FUN! |

Thanks so much for the wonderful compliments on the boy-dog I appreciate it so much. And also, thank you for the awesome advice.
I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed with the field stuff since it's so far from anything I've done before. I'm even a vegetarian if that tells you how far I've had to travel (mentally) to get to the point to even consider hunting titles! But, I'll tell you there is few things so cool as to watch your dogs natural ability come out.
He's 14 months now, I hope to try a NA test... but with the move coming up, I doubt it's going to happen The poor first weim, they are like the test subject, you learn everything on them, it takes 10x's longer to get things accomplished with them and the second one I'm sure is much easier! lol Poor Logan. He's stuck with me! |

Thanks so much ST! I appreciate it!
I've been and continue to be incredibly busy, I apologize I'm MIA and will be until probably a week or two from now (moving from Reno NV to Seattle Wa)
BUT! I got his new champion picture and wanted to share.
Thanks so much for everyone's kindness... we've really appreciated it.
And here he is, the new champion, handled by Debbie Hopkins of Top Hat Weimaraners.
