So Sunday we were having a MAJOR wind storm. My husband and I were trying to get home and were on the main road when this little puppy ran out onto the road and almost got hit. So we slow down and it crosses and almost gets hit by a big truck. I was like I can't watch this, so I turned around and my hubby got out and called it "puppy puppy puppy" and it came running to him. We took her home and Sagira was SO happy to have a little play buddy. I called my rescue and told them I just found a pure bred Bulldog puppy that almost got ran over three times. It didn't have a collar on it or anything. So I posted an ad on Craigslist, but didn't give any details about the dog. I knew if I told people they would lie and say it was their puppy when it really wasn't. So we were on our way to get a crate to foster it and decided to drive back down the road to see if we saw anyone looking around. I saw this guy and he just kind of watched us the entire time. I had a feeling so I turned around again and asked him if he lost a dog. He said yes. Before I let him see her I made him describe her to us. I was kind of upset, I told him he needs to be careful with her and that she almost got hit three times just in the time we saw her and picked her up. He was so thankful that we returned her to him. He is just lucky someone that was looking to make a buck didn't find her though. I hope he is better with her now. Look how cute she is though.

OMG she's a cutie pi
Thank you for helping her and returning her to hr owner...
crazy things happen ; even to the most careful... I learnt that just last night... while Chris was having his class, June got loose from him and ran out the store!  He got immediately, but J.C.... that parking lot is right off the hiway and people drive like lunatix in NJ!!! |

Yikes, that must have been scary. I have that fear at the training club as well. If any of my dogs ran away I would be SO worried. They are like my kids. |
