| I noticed that Gracie has a rash around her neck and a little bit on her back. There are small bumps near her neck. The rash does not seem to itch her, but I'm wondering if it's a reaction to something. At first I thought the rash might have been from her collar, but it's the same collar she's worn before. Also, since the rash is also on her back, it doesn't really make sense. Anyone ever seen anything like this on their dog before? |

| Reef had the same thing a couple of months ago. It went away eventually, but took a while. The vet said t is some kind of allergic reaction, I gave him half a benadryl a day with his food and it eventually went away. Good luck. |

Did you put any topical flea and tick stuff on her? What type of collar does she wear?
Zehen had a rash on the front of his neck and over his shoulderblades for a while. i figured out that he's allergic to any topical medications, and he's allergic to plastic. The snap on his collar was plastic. He started only wearing a collar when he went outside for a while and I got home on with a metal buckle and the rash cleared up!
As for flea and tick stuff... there is a new once a month flea tablet that you can get from your vet called comfortis. Only takes care of fleas, so you'll have to make sure you check him daily for ticks. |
