i think they are like you - they get on a schedule and things happen at the same time every day.
if you get off this schedule for a few weeks, i think it will become less frequent, then stop all together.

we get the same thing although it's at around 5:30. We take them out to pee then try to get them to go back to sleep or at least keep it down. Rolling Eyes Doesn't always work though. Same thing with kids they wake up bright and early on the weekends (well young ones do). I think they just wake up and that's that, they're ready to start the day of new adventures. Especially a puppy.

That's what he does and this is our schedule every day but Sat and Sunday but not for him.....We try to get him to go back to sleep and since FI is up and adam he thinks I have to get up so he stands by the bed and hits me until I get up....and once I'm up the little brat goes back to sleep Smile He's just making sure mom doesn't sleep to late

Bunker goes out at 4:30 thru the week(once I'm done showering) so usually 5 at the latest on the weekend. Sad If we do a lot of hiking and he is exhausted when he goes to bed he'll go back to sleep until 7 but that is very rare. Especially lately with all the rain we are getting, he's not close to burning off all his energy. The hubby and I rotate weekends so we at least get to sleep occasionally.

hooch gets up at 3:30 AM no fail to pee, and snuggle back down to sleep with one of us on the couch. he then will wake me consistently at 5:30, cass at 6, for breakfast, and then go back to sleep or at least remain very mellow for the rest of the morning..
he used to get up at 1:30, as well.. so i am thankful that wake up call has disappeared.. now if only we can eliminate that 3:30 thing.. i'd be one happy camper.
he's 10 months old.. i don't see it changing any time soon.. but he does knock out for the night at 7:30-8.. i wake him up to take him out and then tuck him in his crate around 10.. he is getting real heavy to roll off of the couch when he doesn't want to!

I had this problem, but have conditioned Bailey to follow my crazy schedule. I work 2 off 2 work 3 off 2 work 2 off 3...you get the point. I wake up at 4:30 when I work. He gets up with me and I drop him off at my moms. When I am off, I like to sleep late. He will get up at 5 or 6 to pee, but he will usually sleep with me till 9:30 or so. He does whatever Momma does....everything...up my butt...lol
