Very Cool Nena and I had a blast!
Wish I had remembered my camera, Nena was doing zoomies in the pool at the very beginning of the large dog session, she loved it! |

| I really enjoyed watching your slide show. Love the shot at about 58 seconds, with the dog jumping in the pool. Great picture! |

We had a professional photographer at the event doing us a favor and shooting pics..they are AWESOME!!! He has them up on his site..will be putting them on another link..for those of you that were there the smaller pics are free to download and eventually he will have the other link available and I think people can purchase larger pic prints if they want.
So heres are some of the really good ones..and I think all of the ones with our weims:
maybe ill win haha
LOVE this pic
this poor pup came w/ the lab rescue...she is a puppy mill dog that was used for breeding!

Awesome pics and love the video ..
Just curious do you allow the humans to stand in the pool w/their dogs? .. They kept announcing at the Dog Days I attended here to get out of the pool .. I had to walk in to try and get Zoey in and that kinda ticked me off a little bit .. I wasn't even in ankle deep and I know they weren't referring just to me but I didn't see people swimming in the pool just walking in w/their dogs .. I will say though that there were quite a bit of kids there who were playing in the sprinkler ground not that it bothered my any .. |

TECHNICALLY no one was supposed to be in the pool but we were allowing people to stand in the shallow area with their dogs. It was very hard to keep people to just the shallow end though and there were def kids who were in the shallow end swimming around and completely under water. I also had to yell at quite a few people that decided to do a cannon ball into the deep end!
I actually wish we had a PA system so I could have made an announcement bc people were in a lot further than they should have been. Now hte reason for the rule which Im assuming is the same for your pool is due to the health dept. We had to ask permission to host the event-and they were very clear that if we did such a thing people were not to be in the pool with dogs...I actually think they did not even want people standing ankle deep in there. I was a bit nervous they were going to "pop in" bc they were well aware of when we were hosting our event. If the health dept. decides they dont like how we did it than they could potentially say we cant do it anymore. So while those announcements were prob annoying- there was prob good reasoning behind it
Now on another note....I think the health dept requiring that is kind of silly...bc I have seen our pool look disgusting after a day of people swimming w/ suns screen and dirt and after the dogs it really wasnt all that bad. Ive seen kids do a lot grosser things in the pool than any of the dogs haha. |

The kids in the pool were making me nervous... there were just a few things I saw that were "against the rules" but I think as a whole, everyone was respectful of the rules and the day was very successful!
A PA/bullhorn would be ideal...let's see if we can borrow Joe's megaphone for HOWL-o-weim.
I love that shot of Nena, too... and the ones of Grayce flying into the pool are so good. I thought that lab was just making a silly face... poor thing; so sweet, though. Glad he's been saved! |
