I am so sorry that you lost your best friend.
It is never easy to say goodbye.
Your tribute poem is absolutely beautiful.
I have a tradition where I light a candle for dogs at the bridge...tonight, I will light it for Racer.

Nate, just wondering how you are doing today? It will be a tough go the next few weeks, and just know that we are all here for you. The people on this board have been so wonderful to Bill and I after the loss of our Boy Zane. They will certainly be there for you and your family too...Stay strong...

A little better today, thank you for asking. It has helped alot to be able to read the posts and know that there are others who love their weims as much as Lori and I loved Racer. It is a sad fact of life that with great love comes great loss. But I wouldn't change it for anything. He was the most special companion anyone could have, and I'm glad we were able to share our lives with him.
