| Has anyone used Tavist for there pup? I have heard a few good things, but my vet keeps pushing steroids and allergy testing. I would like to try other less harmful and less invasive things first. Benadryl just doesn't seem to be working much anymore. Suggestion please. |

| I have heard of the Tavist but it was hard to find. I would definitely suggest the testing if possible. If there is a staph infection involved which I have a feeling there must be due to the antibiotics then he will have to take that to get rid of the infection. I understand about the Temeral-P and you not wanting to keep your boy on it for long periods. I went through the same thing with Sade. The steroid in that is supposedly a low does but none the less, I don't like giving it to my girl unless she is just miserable. I would still suggest using that miserable shampoo too. |
