i saw poet's family today when i was out walking hooch.. big hugs.. big tears.. they were planting and hangin in there.. said they are going to get another dog when they are ready..
i went and dropped off an apple tea bread and oatmeal raisin cookies with a card the day i found out.. marc said if it wasn't for the baked goods, they would have eaten nothing all week..
so sad.. i will tell them when i see them next about all of you.. with your love and support and compassion for my neighbor.. it slipped my mind today.. just wanted to hug them, and listen.. |
