Yeah, that is true for a lot of us.....so that being said.......i though this was a forum for weim parents and parents to be, or am i wrong?!?!

Ah yes, I had a feeling this is what it was really about. I don't quite know how to respond and I refuse to apologize, I was a very good Weim parent and did what was best for Sophie. Your opinion on that one way or another doesn't matter to me.

But if you are to be the final arbitor of who belongs here or not, then I guess I don't.

Thanks for the "support".

I am not, and this is not, but it turned that way I guess.....
I refuse to sit here and read advice from smo that is not a weim owner, non the less, gave up their weim, or better say replaced them, and not say anything. Please do us all a favor and take the weim picture down at least, or go run a campaign for Senate.....

There is no replacing Sophie.

As for advice, I hope I learned something from my experience and I can teach others how to avoid such heartbreak.

But the details don't matter to you, you would rather paint with a broad brush and stick to your opinion of me as it's been formed in your mind. Which is fine. Your choice.

But no one is forcing you to read my posts. And I didn't say anything about adopting Kona because of the harsh judgment of some here on the board. Why put myself through that again? Doesn't matter because some, like you, will insist on bringing it up anyway.

Nice. Take care and have a good life.

Forum Rules

1) Remember that behind these aliases and avatars are real people. Please be respectful towards each other.

2) Please understand that everyone, including children, will be able to see what you type. Please refrain from the use of vulgarities or anything else that would be considered inappropriate for young eyes.

3) Please do not talk about specific breeders on the forum. If you are a breeder, please don’t talk specifically about your kennels. This reduces the risk of libel and defamation issues and is for the benefit of everyone. It also reduces the risk of confrontations between breeders as well as advertising issues.

4) Please do not advertise dogs for sale on this forum at all.

And according to the forum rules, there is nothing about having to own a Weimaraner to be part of the board. I broke rule #2 but you might want to read rule number one.

Thanks! I am glad i was able to express myself clearly, now go convince someone else on the doxy forum that you are such a saver! I hope and pray that i never see you name here again, I cringe every-time i see it because all you do is instigate, but i guess you will never give any of us that want you gone the pleasure of experiencing that anytime soon.
It`s a shame that you have been allowed to turned this forum into your personal game and that is why so many good people here refuse to come around anymore.

I probably shouldn't even be involved but I couldn't help it.

I read your blog. I think it's wonderful for Sophie that you gave her up but don't say you were a "very good weim parent". If you were that good, you'd still have her. I understand getting in way over your head and not being able to handle a weimaraner, which is why I said it's good for Sophie that she's with another family. But now you have at least 2 more dogs, Jasper and Kona, and you said you will foster again and again. Which is fantastic because foster homes are so needed. But I don't see how giving up Sophie has anything to do with buying dogs from a pet store, although I applaud your effort for being pro-rescue. Just don't try to come across as this wonderful weim owner.

I agree actually, yes I am glad and thankful that you are fostering, i thinks its great. I have done it very briefly and its very consuming physically and emotionally, actually very draining. Please though no weim comments bc i feel that you have no place to!

I don't know where I said I was a wonderful weim owner considering I said that I failed her, it was my fault and I screwed up, but okay.

As for the other comment from Iris, I don't see the point in responding other than this, I admitted to breaking rule number two but you refuse to admit that you are in violation of the first rule, repeatedly. I am a person, humabing and I am flawed just like everyone else. Being a bully will not change that.

And for those you speak of that no longer come here because of ME, I'm sorry to them, it has never been my intention to cause problems.

See, now there is a flip side to the coin too....what if she kept Sophie under those circumstances and Sophie ended up getting hurt, or being resented and possibly neglected (I'm NOT insinuating ANYTHING here) but people who keep dogs when they can't handle them tend to wind up causing more harm than good to the dog. So all in all, I think it was a wise choice to accept the fact that she couldn't give Sophie what she needed and that she took the time to find someone who could. That is just my 2 cents, so please don't go ape poo poo on me. Sophie could have wound up at a shelter or just dumped on the side of the road (AGAIN NOT insinuating) but it does happen, so lets just agree that Sophie is in a better place .... Very Happy

ladies we've been warned about posts like these if we can't get along with each other then don't respond to the posts.
there are things people do or say that we don't agree with but do we really have to get in to a slanging match about them we are all different with different feelings about subjects that's what makes us human but please stop nit picking at each other its really not worth it.
