Is he albino? Or is he mixed with yellow lab? Do tell  !!!
There was an albino weim on here last year, I think from Italy. Very cool looking girl!
Cloud is very handsome! Did he ever get in the water??? |

Cloud is actually a product of two Grays. The litter he came from produced 4 whites and 2 gray pups.
I don't think he's albino. He does have pink skin, though I suspect that involves more around allergies than anything else. He has a brown nose and the ghostly yellowish eyes that some weims have.
Though, I think you can have partial albinos? You know, where they lack the skin or hair pigment but have normal eyes. Or am I wrong about that?
And he is a beautifully rambunctious dog.
Oh, he also did make it to the water. He splashed around and fell deeply asleep in my backseat on the way home.
I don't know if he is still deathly afraid of swimming, but bath time has gotten significantly better now. Lol. |

This is about the 3rd or 4th white Weim I have seen. I have seen a reasonable genetic explanation for it, an old article written by an old time Weim person. A well known Weim breeder and rescue person knows of a kennel that has produced them multiple times. Some kind of gene mutation perhaps.
I personally feel that the recessive "e" gene is in the Weim gene pool.... |

I couldn't wait to show my son your picture of Cloudy...He thinks he's really cool. (He's our little Weim enthusiast) That is so interesting..I've never seen a white weim either.
