My 17 month old weimaraner decided to run to my girlfriend who was at our neighbors house across the street. Well a car was coming, thankfully very slow, and hit her chest high. She hurt her left hind leg pretty bad, enough to need surgery, but shes gonna be alright. Just waiting on them to call us to pick her up. One of her wounds can be closed but the other is what they call "degloved". The paw and a little above was completely skined to the bone and will need lots of attention and even skin graphs. This dog was is my soldier and always hangs strong regardless of anything. What a crappy night. oh ya, so far $842.10

one of the worst feelings in the world. she usually stays in the yard unless she sees one of us coming. something we have been working on, the only positive i have found is that maybe this will help. i will post pictures of her once we pick her up. i work for my dad so i told him im not coming back to work till monday and then she may hang out in my office.

Poor Peyton! I'm so sorry -- I know how hard it is to see a dog be hurt by a car. My childhood dog, an Irish Setter, was hit and killed by a teenager speeding down our street in a TransAm. I was only 9, but I remember that day like it was yesterday. I'm glad Peyton is okay (well, relatively). Best wishes for his speedy recovery!

Lots of Reiki on the way. Homeopathic Arnica 30c, one tablet 3 times daily for a few days will help her recovery and Rescue Remedy would help with the emotional and shock. RR would help you too.
