We have a cordless Dremel which I believe works the same as the Peticure.. plus we can use ours for odd jobs around the house too
If you do a search for 'dremel' you should be able to find more info

That pedicure thing sounds really good to use, we want to try the dremmel on the boys but am scared about how powerful it is. I did go and buy a battery powered human nail type buffer/sander thing at walgreens for $10.00 to try and use on Wyatt our 11wk old pup, it seems to be doing a great job on him...we have not yet to try it on our 2 year old Zane yet....usually it works on the pup while he is sound asleep! I would love to hear any advice to start using a dremel tool on our pets here...

| That looks very interesting. I wonder if it really works. Bailey's nails are longer than what they should be because they are black and I can't tell when I am close to the vein. |

| we love it. it makes their nails soooo smooth! the only thing is that they get bored of it too quick because it takes forever for each nails. bit we love it. they don't scratch you when they jump after you used this. |

| That tool looks awesome. I use a Dremel with the 1/2 inch sanding drum. I start with 60 grit and end with 120 grit for a little smoother finish. It works really well. We tried both types of clippers but got tired of fighting with the dogs to get the nails clipped. We needed 3 people to get Mona's done! I chose a dremel because it has a lot of other uses besides nails, but the attachment on this device seems to work really well according to the video anyway. |

| So, this thread is from awhile back but we got our dremel in the mail today!!! One of our dogs is okay with it being on and will sniff it when it is off, but won't let it near his paws, even just for me to hold a paw in one hand with the dremel in the other. The other dog, though, the real miracle-- she has been laying in my lap letting me dremel her nails down. Her nails are looking SO GOOD. She has been getting lots of treats for being so good, but I am so impressed! I think I'm the one who really needs the dremel-- I cut one of Cache's nails to the quick ones and even since then I've been terrified to do it, but this dremel thing is fun! |

| I see that most people have a dremel tool, but has anyone tried the peticure tool from the first post? If it actually works, I would love to pick one up. Please let me know. |

Oh, there is also a Dremel that is just a pet grooming tool.. so less expensive than a larger Dremel kit.
Does it look like it would work as well as using a regular Dremel? http://www.amazon.com/Dremel-761-03-Cordless-Grooming-Rotary/dp/B0000C6DZ2/ref=br_fq_k_hmmm_1
Or would we be ahead to make the larger investment?
We have a clipper with a small sander in the handle part. I tried to show it to Jazz this afternoon since she really needs her nails trimmed. Well, actually I followed her around with it... you know how they can walk just enough ahead of you so you can't really touch them? |

We have this one, the pet grooming one and I like it. I don't know how it compares to the regular dremel, but that's what I use for Josie and it seems to work well. |
