I got two weims from a breeder and they've been together ever since. I crate them together, feed them together, they do everything together. I take them out and they get to run for an half hour at least every other day. Miura is bigger by 5 lbs and is much calmer, very intuitive, friendly, sometimes independent and knows what she wants. Murci is crazy, violent, pushy, humps miura and just doesnt seem to get it (like how to behave in the house) Sometimes I think Murci was the runt.
None of those things are really bother us, until the potty training issue arrises. Both dogs are crate trained and Miura usually goes to the door when she needs to go out. Murci on the other hand just goes in another room and eliminates. I discourage her when she does it, tell her outside and take her out. We even reward her when she does eliminate outside.
Being that they are almost 2 (20mos) I feel this is ridiculous-cause Miura goes to the door. The dogs do not sleep in my bed but occasionally I will let them snuggle with me for a moment. It wasnt until last night that I was ready to give up. Murci blatantly got on the bed and pissed (just a little, so I know she was telling us something) Then this morning, she climbed on top of me and squatted to take a poo on me in the bed!!!!
What is this about, does anyone know what to do at this point?? Should I just call Ceasar? |

Take her dominant role away from her. You'll still have a fight on your hands for a while but she will give up the role if you are persistent in staying in the dominant position yourself. Just remember if you do the same things Caesar does, you don't need to call him. Sounds like a superhero huh?!?! |
