It's raining today and I don't have a shelter outside yet at the new home. So the dogs went out for a few minutes to piddle and then right back inside. Now they are rambunctious and smell like nasty wet dogs. I'm going to try and wash them in the bathtub. Try to wash them.... . But here is a video of them enjoying their new space. It's a bit dark because, stupid me, I forgot to turn on the lights.

Alright, so I just gave the dog a bath in a bathtub for the first time. They did great and it's really amazing seeing the dirty-ness just come off them and sit in the tub. Bleh! But they smell like wet dogs again, just not the stinky kind. lol
Here's Scoot Boot after the bath. He had this look on his face like "Ma! I'm all wet! Even my toes-es! EWWWW!"
Funny ...... Our dog does this too.. However we are now trying to get the wet dog smell out of our couches with no luck..... Febreze won't touch it..... It just creates a weird funky smell....
Try "nature's Miracle" it is the BEST pet odor remover I have found yet. It's supposed to actually break down the enzymes to a point where the animals themselves can no longer smell the remnants. It has worked wonders for us. It is at most pet stores and I've even seen it at the grocery store.

She was just talking about the dogs themselves being stinky because they got wet. Not about them having had accidents in the house or anything.

Yeah, luckily my furniture doesn't smell. I'm a freak about keeping things clean. Dogs aren't allowed on furniture but that doesn't mean they don't try. But that is good advise! Thanks!

hehe.. they look like they are in heaven in their new home!! Scooter looks like he's been painted brown in that second photo!! Ruby looks that brown in some light sometimes too!
Glad you guys are settling in really well!
Sorry for any confusion on this post, I asked a question..... Anyway.....I bought the natures miracle and it has already removed most of the smell... It is just a light odor of wet dog... As for pet urine or poo I don't know... My animals are well trained to go outside so that's not a problem. It was only my large couch that smelled. The natures miracle (a few sprays) has already out preformed the whole bottle of febrez.. I imagine with a whole week of spraying (once a day) the odor won't be a problem at all.... Thanks again
