She's just an overgrown baby! I was worried she wouldn't like the new bed I bought her (after I kept catching her on mine) but I think she likes it. Anybody else have an overgrown baby???

Silkie gets in my lap (80 lbs) Gunnar is always trying to climb on top of John (90 lbs) and Jake (100 lbs) will also try to sit on our laps...the boys settle for just their heads in our laps. Not Silkie, she gets up until I push her off.
Scout, the smallest of the four (70 lbs) will sqeeze into the tiniest space to be next to one of us....
They absolutely have no sense of how big they are. |

We take them lots of places. Most recently we took them on a long weekend up the PA mountains. They have learned to be very good in the back of the SUV. We are working on a larger vehicle...so they are safer.
We had to walk the four of them because there was no yard and we had to keep them leashed...I take two and John takes two.
We take them to John's mom's house, to rescue events (usually not all four) and we take them all to Tri States Rescue Picnic..that's a hoot!
We have a nice large fenced yard..so I walk one at a time when the weather is nice. I like to give them each some alone time with me. |
