so we picked up Oliver today and tonight is our first night home with the two...actually it was just me for the night or is..since it is only 11 lol. Things are great right now..both are sleeping. Oliver on Molly's dog bed and Molly on the couch beside me. so far our only problem is molly growling at him because she wanted his ball.
I do have a few concerns about Oliver though. As he sleeps i have been looking him over. His nose is VERY dry nose. his pads on his front feet, the ones up around the ankle seem to be very raw... in addition his lips, on both sides looks as if they have been skinned (like when one bits a lip of two long). i dont know if these are things to be concerned about or not. i just want to make sure that he is healthy.
so far he is seeming to be a very good boy! |

Congrats!
Pictures please????
Bag balm is really good for healing pads, his lips and his nose maybe like that from chewing on marrow bones or if he was fed in a plastic bowl.
Hard to say without seeing them. |

If he's a puppy, start him on a premium food immediately. Could be nothing, but could also be a result of poor nutrition for the first couple of weeks.
without seeing pics I can't even guess. Sorry! |
