How cute! My dog did the same thing except he actually stuck his head in the cat crate (cat wasn't inside it). We had just driven from Colorado to Arizona and Goose was trying to get a piece of cat food that got dropped in there. He heard me coming up the stairs and lifted his head (instead of pulling it out) and proceeded to freak out and shake his head. The crate was in the corner so Goose kept shaking his head and the crate kept banging on the walls on both sides of him (at this point, I'm in the room and didn't know if I would be any benefit of trying to rescue him from the crate). Eventually the crate went flying across the room and crashed on top of the cat that was standing on the opposite side of the room watching the whole thing. The cat screamed and ran out of the room only to whack itself on the banister that surrounds the stair case as he was running towards our master bedroom.
At this point, I'm laughing so hard and went after the cat, trying not to pee my pants. Needless to say, I was able to salvage my dignity and both dog and cat were ok... god only knows if they lost more brain cells that day. |

HAHA HAHA HAHA HAHA HAHA HAHA HAHA HAHA HAHA HAHA, I don't know if I have ever tried so hard to not break out into a roaring laugh, my boss was in my office while I was reading this and he would probably be pissed if he knew I was reading that while I was supposed to be paying attention! I was just sitting there with a huge smerk on my face trying soooooo hard not to laugh because I could just see a visual of this happening at our house too. HAHA thats an awesome story. |

I was laughing even just trying to type the story out! Its like the moment that my boyfriend jumped up with his hands in the air (for whatever stupid reason) underneath a ceiling fan that was ON high. It seemed to happen in slow motion and I already could anticipate what was going to happen. I made fun of him for a while about that one. One night I had the giggles and I thought of that moment and every time I looked at him I couldn't stop laughing. This went on for like a good 15-20 minutes, to the point where my eyes looked like they had been bawling for hours. I couldn't even tell him why I was laughing because it made me laugh even harder! I think he was upset because he thought I was "on something" and wouldn't share! |

Whoa, whoa, whoa. Putting your hands into the ceiling fan is no laughing matter. I have the unfortunate situation of having a ceiling fan above the foot of my bed... which is precisely where I stand to get dressed in the morning. Reaching skyward to put on a shirt only to have my fingers crunched by whirling blades of pain is a monthly ritual around my place. I guess I could get dressed somewhere else, or maybe even turn the fan off when I get up, but what can I say, I'm a creature of habit. |
