Scout and I participated in our first agility trial this weekend! I was a nervous wreck but Scout ran great. She qualified in both of her jumpers with weaves attempts but didn't do as well on the standard course (I think she would have qualified if I hadn't been in her way)
It was really fun though! I was surprised that there weren't any other weimaraners at the trial. There were two Vizla's so we bonded - us pointers have to stick together!
This is a picture from our practice the week before the trial.

Sophie - That is great! I think you and Wendy will have a lot of fun! I know Scout gets really excited when she sees the practice field and all the equipment. Good Luck!

Congratulations on your first Q's!! Beautiful picture! I don't see many Weims at trials either in my area. We also cheer on the Vizla's and GSP's with "Go Sporting Dogs!" Can't wait "till the next one now can you?

I'm sure we'll have a lot of fun... I just can't wait! I hope Wendy will love it too!!
We've been at the practice field two days ago, just to look, Wendy have been great and did not make a big deal of the other dogs! So I guess we'll be okay for that! |
