I'm game for when and wherever decided except for the Sunday the 5th and Sat. the 25th in Oct.
Tara, I'm a loser too. While you work Saturday nights I usually save money by staying home...unless there is a local tractor pull or a drag queen competition. |

let me figure out what we are doing w/ the pool..bc typically we drain it..than refill it half way (like it was for dog days)...once we refill it..it will not have chemicals in it..so it quickly turns into green leafy water ..BUT if we could schedule a get together on or around the date we refill it...than all the pups could swim again and the water would be nice and fresh |

Check out this event... http://www.operationkindness.org/dda/about.php
someone else posted it, but I think we could def. "borrow" some ideas from another fundraising water event...
I also like the pledge walk idea. |

k dont get tooo excited yet but when I saw my boss today he started talking about the possibility of hosting another event (not as all out as this one was) but just an open invite dog swim..no stress of raffles, vendors etc...
anyone can come...pay a small entrance fee and swim and play.
but have it be a HOWLoween swim party...we can have a doggy costume contest haha.
still not sure of a date or if its definite..but if we dont get shot down by the exec. director were gonna plan for it.
It might benefit lab rescue this time if we do a small entrance fee..since my boss has a lab and the lab rescue attended the event.
Ill keep you updated...bc obviously if we are doing it..we have to plan it soon. |

I've had it narrowed down to 2 for awhile. Bunker needs a costume on trick or treat night up at the fire station I guess I better decide soon... |

Luna thinks it sucks that so much super fun doggy stuff happens so far away from where she lives!
