Weimaraner Addict

Posting this under weim rescue even though he is not a weim. Nobles Family has been transferred for work out of the country and the idea of quarantining Noble for 6 months is not something they feel would be fair. They are devastated that they need to rehome Noble. This is a friend of someone who works in my office..I had her forward me the info and pictures so I could pass it around. I think they are located in NJ..def in the Tri-State area.

Approx Age is 1 yr, approx weight is 50-60 lbs.

Coloring is black and tan. Has a soft looking face so you can see the possible combo of shepperd/rottie and whatever else.


I found him thru Petfinder and we received him last Feb as a pup. He was very shy/timid when he first came but soon found his personality. He was a bit rough in the beginning mostly because he was found on the streets at 9 weeks, running with other dogs and did not have much human interaction. But from the get go was and still IS very loving and cuddly. I have a trainer that I hired a while back who is "lifetime" so that means his training goes with him and he has taken to the training very well. We use a "training collar" which he has responded to wonderfully. He will at this point (without any correction) go to his "place" on the front hallway steps when the doorbell rings. He is great on a leash. I take him running occasionally. He is great in the car - he has been in there everyday for the past 2 weeks just because of keeping him out of the house for the sake of showing the house to prospective buyers. He is fully "trained" and will have NO issue waking you up in the night if he needs to go out. He barks at the door during the day if need be. He is really great with other dogs... loves to wrestle but can settle down as well. He still is a puppy so still does the play puppy nipping but pretty harmless and more just to get attention.
