Please say a little prayer for my friend's Weim, Woton. He was a 14 yr old boy who held many titles (JH, AX, AXJ, NSD, CGC, V). He survived bloat last month but was just not himself any more.
He went to the bridge this morning and joins their other Weim there, Zoe.

I hope she doesn't mind me posting this....but, Ragan and Odin lost their sweet Macy girl last night, she was hit by a car and went to the Rainbow Bridge. My heart breaks for her and her family.

This weekend we lost a friend, Nina. She was a border collie that came to the daycare that I work at. On Saturday, Nina got out of her back yard and ran across the street to a school soccer field. Nina's favorite thing in the world was to push a ball around. There was a team there practicing, so off she went with one of their soccer balls, chasing it around to her heart's content. ...

I've been helping out a lot at the shelter lately, and today was just another day. That is, until a man brought in a chi-weenie mommy and her five one-day old babies. I immediately scooped them up. He brought them in as strays and lord only knows how long they sat in that tiny little carrier with no a/c. The poor babies were laid out and panting, they were so hot ...

The 10 week old Weim pup that was brought into the clinic with Parvo, passed early Wed morning. I have no words other than run free sweet pup...you are in a better place now. I hope River met you as you crossed the Bridge.

A dear friend of mine lost his beautiful Gordon Setter, Sieta, last night. She finally crossed the rainbow bridge, but Rob is devastated. I have no words to comfort him. Sieta was his "magic soul" dog. He never went anywhere without her and now has this large hole in his life. I just wish there was something I could say or do... Run free, Sieta!

Happy Father's day to all of the dad's out there. I'm remembering my Dad tonight. He passed in 1994. He always said that he never wanted to go to heaven if they didn't let dogs in, so I'm sure he's at the rainbow bridge with all of our furry friends that have also passed.
