Doggy safe craft paint???

I want to make Ronix his own stocking, and I want to personalize it/decorate it with maybe a paw print of his or two. Does anyone know of any approved paint to do this little craft? Or if I washed his paw off right away will any craft paint do? I just don't want to irritate his paws (it would definitely be a front paw since his back left is still cut ...

Best Weim Bed

Just had this epiphany today and thought I'd share it. You can buy a crib mattress at Walmart for $36. Compare this to the $100s for an orthopedic foam dog bed of similar size. The mattresses are made to repel water and you can get fitted sheets which can be easily laundered. Ikea sells a two pack of jersey sheets for $5. Since the mattress is impermeable it also means no dust mites or fleas ...

Weimaraner serving tray *DONE*

I ordered tiles from cafepress.com. All the "old dogs rule" tiles, several from weimamama's Blue Print Shop, TSWR tile, and few others...12 all together. John has the wood to make the frame and bottom...he damn near cut his finger off cutting it last night  with the table saw.

As things progress I'll post pictures of it. It's going to be very nice.....

Slow Feed Bowl?

I keep seeing slow feed bowls and was wondering if anyone had done something yourself. Maya is such a fast eater. We feed her 3 times a day but she scarfs her food so fast she coughs it back up and re-eats it. I think that might also be a reason for her terrible gas? Any ideas are welcomed please!

Easy to make collars...

Well I took on the challenge of making dog collars...

I keep seeing all these collars on Etsy and Ebay, and I thought to myself that can not be all that hard. There are even sites that show you step by step on how to make them if you google "how to make a dog collar".

Here are my attempts. Wyatts is adjustable, and Tate's is just a collar. But what is nice is that ...

I have found a bed on a rescue site that looks like it might be simple to make. The frame will not be a problem I just would like some input on how I should attach the material that they will lay on to the frame.
