Hello, I will be picking up my first Weim in a few days. He is 10 weeks old and unfortunately is not working out in his first household. He will have lived with that household for two weeks and I am hoping he has not picked up any bad habits since I am not aware of the type of training that is going on. If this is the case, will it be difficult to break him of the bad habits? Any thoughts appreciated.

Hi! Welcome to the forum!
Congratulations on the addition to your family.
He's very young and I don't think you'll have any problems...just remember consistency and positive reinforcement. But don't be too harsh, the world is still a brand new place for him! Wink

I think that, at that age and after only 2 weeks, it's unlikely he will have developed any habits at all, good or bad, and will probably be whatever you make of him! Good luck!

I agree with Dannigirl and Josie. That pup is still really young. I can't believe someone already gave up on him. I would definitely look into puppy class when he has had his shots. It is really important for a puppy to get the socialization and early obedience training.

Thanks for the feedback and yes I cannot believe someone gave up on him so quickly. We have picked him up and so far, so good!
