New to Weimaraner Addicts, Pretty New to Weims

Hello everyone! We are new to addict, and pretty new to Weims in general. My husband and I became a weimaraner owner in May of this year. We brought Jezabelle home when she was 6 weeks old. Since then, our lives have revolved around her. We researched dogs for a long while before making a decision (the whole time my heart was set on the gray beauties and my husband compromised after being a lifetime owner of labs).
We all live at home in Mathews, VA where Jez has ample space to run and play. We use an invisible fence and have found this to be a great tool. Jez has done well with potty training, loves to steal food, can be destructive, and tries to never leave our sides. Crate training neared its end very early in her life. When in the crate, separation anxiety set in. Jez spends her days outside in the yard while we are away at work. She sleeps every night in the bed with us and cuddles to no end. She learns well, as we have mastered 3 tricks and need to start working on some new ones. Jez was spayed just this past month and surgery went well.
My husband wanted me to check out this forum and after seeing the pics and reading some blogs, I registered right away. Glad to be here and talk to you all soon!

Wecome from California! You will love this site! It is a must for expecially new Weim owners. There is a wealth of information here. Where did you get your Weim? (speciifc breeders names are not allowed) But I was just wondering what state? My Duke came from Virginia.
