Hello! I have been anxiously awaiting our pup, Melvin and he is here! We have had Melvin for almost one week and he is 8 months today. He is such a smart little guy and we love him very much!
I am so excited to have found this amazing website as all of the information has been so helpful!

| Thanks, it is good to see another cat/weim family get along okay. I was a little worried about the combination of the two but they seem to get along okay so far. |

I know - everything I read led me to believe that my weim would eat my cats  lol usually it's the cat who beats up the dog! Poor guy doesn't stand a chance.
He's starting to get a little feistier with them, but I think they'd still win! |

Welcome to the board! I have three cats and they are all very much alive. I have said it before, of the three cats I have one lover, one hisser and swatter, and one that pretends he doesn't exist. It seems to work.  |

I have a hisser and a lover too...so far Sadie just walks up to them and sniffs them nose to nose and then walks away. (we've had her for 5 days) She ignores them for the most part....I don't feel she will eat them...and the cats seem to be getting that same feeling too.
