|

Well i finally decided to go ahead and get another pup. i couldn't decide between another weim or a dobe but i got to thinking and i thought "ya know i like my weim so much and i'm always bragging on him why would i get anything different". So i'm getting the weim pup, i should be able to pick him up in Feb. Floyd, my 2 year old weim was the runt of the litter and this one is the beast of the litter, his mom weighs 85 and his dad is a monsterous 108, cant wait to see how big this ones gonna get. He is 6 weeks right now and about 11 1/2 pounds. Got kinda worried though, the breeder called me yesterday to tell me he had developed an umbilical hernia, but i did a lot of internet research and called my vet and apparently they are very common and not a big deal. Oh and the pup's name....Drama!! Any Entourage fans? |

Wow, that's big My girl was only 7lbs at 6 weeks. Congrats on the pup! We have thought about getting a Dobe, but Weims are so sweet, and I don't think I could love anything more. |

I believe your right, i remember seeing the hooch macalli on the website. WOW, what a small world this is. What in the world made you decide on a breeder here in Arkansas, that's quite a ways away from you? |

| Cool! nice to meet you! i researched breeders for awhile. it was very important to me to get a pup from someone who was well informed and really appreciated the breed, as well as really took the time to place pups with proper homes. Boo was purchased by my partner's sister from a backyard breeder and he was diagnosed young with a seizure disorder that was not responding to medication. he sadly didn't live passed 3 years old.. i couldn't imagine going through that again. i just kept coming back to them.. they truly are amazing, patient people who love their dogs and know their history.. that's what mattered the most to me..so the distance is one day out of our lives, for hopefully, a long history together.. we'll have to keep each other updated as they grow! |

| Yea definitely, it's always kinda cool to know where the sisters and brothers are and to be able to see how they are doing. BTW, don't know if it's the other colors in the picture or if she is just that pretty but you sure are getting a nice looking pup!! |

thanks, i think all of them are beautiful.. the last bunch as well.. Hooch is almost identical to his dad when his dad was a pup..needs to grow into his skin and paws! he is about 1/2 a pound smaller than your big guy! i think we are both going to have some big weims to play with! good luck with Drama.. let me know how he acclimates to his new brother!
if i dare to get another in a year or two, i'm thinking a blue female.. but i really think one weim for me will be enough.. time will tell! |

Hi Travis, this is Brooke! Nice to see that you two found each other!
Here's a picture of Drama at six wks. for everyone to see. He's quite a handful! I should have a more recent bunch of photos in a couple of days, I will send them asap.
