New in Nashville

Hi,

My name is Dana and I have adopted a 5year old male weim, Beau. He was dropped at a county shelter and a friend who runs a weim rescue sprung him. He came to live with me last Labor Day.

Before Beau I had a rescue weim named Oliver who was 8. I got him from the people who had raised him from a pup. I can't imagine giving up a weim after 7 years. Unfortunately, Oliver had bone cancer and died last July.

When my friend called me about Beau I didn't think I could do it again. But then I met him, and the rest is history. Beau is absolutely the best dog ever. He's very calm, polite and sweet. I can take him everywhere and he behaves like a perfect gentleman.

Welcome to the site. That is so great that you adopted a Weim. I know you will enjoy the site. Here is a picture of my little one.

Hi and welcome. My name is Heather and I have two weims. Riddick is almost 2 and we got him as a puppy and then about 6 months ago we adopted Riley. He is a little over 3 and we are his third and final home. Rescuing a weim is such a great thing to do... I consider myself very fortunate to have found Riley.
Beau is very handsome. He has wonderful eyes. I don't know how to could say no to him. I am very sorry for your lose. Losing a dog can be so hard. Make sure you post (maybe a picture ) something about Oliver in the thread called " the land of golden trails and wagging tails"
Welcome to the site and I can't wait to chat with you and see lots more pictures.

Hello, and welcome to the site! I have three dogs; A Weimaraner named Dorian, a German Shorthaired Pointer named Mirabella, and a Lab/Rot mix named Aristotle. Smile
