Welcome to the board! I'm so sorry to hear about Blue. He is such a handsome fella.

I have two females (2 y/o sisters) that I'm fostering through the DC Weim Rescue. If you would like to know more you can PM me. I'm in Stevensville, Md and it wouldn't be too much to meet you half way if you wanted to see them. Smile

Wow that's cool that you sort of know each other, small world.

Blue's got very distinct facial features, he's a very good looking dog. Sorry about his sudden health problems, hope you get to be with him as long as possible.

Robert

yeah thanks everyone. its breaking our hearts, but its not that sad. the way i look at it, we knew his heart was bad when we got him. his owner wanted to put him down. so we took him and did every thing we could. the vet said we would be lucky to get three years out of him. she was right. we had an eccocardiogram done(sp?) and they said that surgery couldnt help. the heart is too damaged.he has had a wonderful life and is well loved. the only thing we can do is enjoy the time we have left with him. hes doin so well on his meds though. he acts like nothings wrong. but thats the great thing about weims ( or any dog). they dont feel sorry for themselves. they just care about us Laughing
