Hello!
We picked Luna up a week ago this past Sunday, and is she ever something!   We did plenty of research on Weims before we decided on getting one, so I am confident in that. I do have PLENTY to learn though about having a puppy!
We're crate training her and she is such a good girl so far! She sleeps through the night (8 hours), and we kennel her while we're working her for 4 hours then come home on lunch to pee, eat lunch and play before we're kenneled for another 4 hours.... *crosses fingers* so far no accidents in the kennel!! I am very pleased that she isn't showing any seperation anxiety signs at all! All the talk of it has me nervous!!
I am always after her because she cannot leave any kind of stick or wood chip alone... I am pretty sure that she is actually eating alot of the sticks and wood chips (I can hear her chewing, then the piece in question disappears!). Should I be worried that I am going to get sick or hurt? Any suggestions on how to get her to leave them alone?
Also, I like to BITE!  Mom, Dad, the Cats, the sofa, blankets, the rug.... Help?
Any other suggestions??

Welcome to the group, I'm a new Weim owner too!  I was actually thinking of naming her Luna, but we may be going with Holly. She looks like a Holly to me. |
