Welcome from warm & sunny Pensacola, FL! Y'all sound like you have the same situation as my husband and I do in that Georgia is our first dog as a married couple. And we've been married 31 years! When our son went off to college our house got very quiet and lonely, especially since my husband is a firefighter. He's gone every third day and I was home alone... well, except for a 15 year old Siamese. He sleeps about 23 hours out of the day so not much company. Anyway, we just love Georgia, even though she's a handful. She keeps us moving and is a distraction from the fact that both our kids are out of the house now. |
