I am getting in a new foster pup tomorrow. He is around 4-5 months old I was told. He is one of five that were dropped off at a kill shelter (not sure which one he is). He will be here tomorrow evening, so I will have more new pics of him on Weds. I am sure. I think his name is going to be Dexter. Wish us luck...I am really nervous for some reason...

| Look at all the Weimy noses! So cute, but is just makes you want to cry. Are they all from the same surrender? I am so glad you are bringing one home. Thank you! Dexter is a great name. |

Yes, they were dropped off from someone saying they had to many, so that is probably a breeder who didn't sell them and now they are to big so what the heck, lets just drop them off at the shelter. I guess his 4 litter mates have already found homes, he is the only one left. I am anxious to meet him tomorrow. I hope he gets along okay with my dogs and cats. |

Sometimes I really, really hate people. I am glad to hear the others have homes though. I can't wait to see him. Charge up the camera batteries! You know all of us and our demands for photo's. |

I have decided if we ever get another weim it will be a boy and we are going to name him Calvin, after Calvin and Hobbs. These pups seem to get into just as much trouble as that kid did!
Good luck tomorrow! Can't wait to see pictures! |

These people don't have a soul or a heart!!
Good luck with the pup!! Great thing you are doing!! I just can't understand how people can do such things to dogs or any animals!
Glad to hear the other found good homes |

No foster for me. People keep taking my Weimy fosters before they make it to my house for me to foster. But I guess that is a good thing, right? |

Well, if you lived closer I would bring my pup and KEEN over for a fun, wild puppy romp- just to make you feel a little better : )
Did she keep him keep him, or just keep him to foster? |

I am not sure. The girl who went to Dayton to pick up another Weim was supposed to bring back the puppy and she called me and was like did anyone let you know that she decided to keep the puppy? I was like uhh no. We were sitting here waiting on it and I rearranged my whole day, I worked over so I could leave early today so he wouldn't have to be in a crate very long, etc. I just wish someone would have let us know. Oh well, the good thing is he is safe and being taken care. I am not sure if she is adopting him or just kept him to foster.
I also volunteer for a mixed breed group here in Columbus and they have 2 that need to come in or they will be put down so I told them I would take one of those since it is life or death as well. I just wish I had more space to save more babies. So sad. |
