Thanks for the suggestions everyone. Sorry I've been too busy to post (been at the Dr's and getting kids Chrismas pics done).I've done some research on protesting pet stores and if worse comes to worse I will personally go in there and threaten them with that and see what happens.
Here's what is involved in protesting, if I was them I would be afraid. Especially if it's possible to get this done before Christmas (their busiest time of year).

If you have time, I wanted to share the video that I just watched on their website about puppymills. It gives a small glimpse into some puppymills that have been raided. (Warning- )

| Anne, ITA! I do not plan on purchasing this dog from them. And believe me, I have been going back and forth trying to justify spending the money on this pup. My heart says to just go and get her, but I know that I need to use my head here and try my hardest to put this place out of business. If I'm going to spend any money it's going to be on brochures to hand out to people outside of their store informing the public of where these puppies are coming from. |

Please please please do not make an emotional decision about this. The only way to make a statement is through your pocketbook. Pet stores are a business. When inventory doesn't move, they will not sell puppies. At 4 months this puppy is costing the pet store money. If you buy this puppy, another will fill its place. I know it is heartbreaking to see that puppy there. I know it's not fair to this particular dog, but IMO it's far better to save more dogs in the future than one now.
If you have already talked to a salesperson, give her your business card and make up an info packet and ask her to give it to whomever might buy the puppy. Try your best to educate the salesperson as well. The new owner is going to need lots of help, this pup will be difficult to housebreak. |

| Yes, whatever you do, find a way to not give the pet store a dime, please. Otherwise there will be another dog right in the same spot. |
