I must admit that I chuckled several times as I read your post...I totally sympathize that you went through that, but appreciate your sense of humor as you described this horrific situation.
Something's in the air is right...I also came home from work yesterday to find Gracie in her crate with a big mess covering her crate bed. The poor thing was standing up because she didn't want to lay in it. My situation was no where near as bad as yours. The mess was mostly contained in the crate. I did get a funny look from my neighbor as I came out of the garage with the soiled crate bed and the crate pan to hose off.
Anyway, I hope Enzo recovers quickly and you never have to deal with that type of situation again! |

Story was very well said! LMAO I can sympathize and empathize with you. Love the sarcasm and humor... and sounds like my kind of thinking. Having that smell when you walk in is like knowing Freddie Kruger is around the corner waiting to slice you with his razor hands and you don't want to go but you know you have to face it!
Glad to hear the sickness was nothing major other than liquid stink. |

so sorry! hope enzo feels better.
that story was too funny! at least you still have your sense of humor.
can you get professional carpet cleaners to come clean your carpet for you? when we still had w2w carpet, we paid about 120 dollars for living/dining room and 2 hallways. the carpet was light beige and was good for 10 years with once a year deep clean. |

ROFLMAO!!!! That was a very well written, very visual story and I feel horrible for you and for Enzo!! Especially when you came back from Lowes and he pooped right when you got back into your clean car!
Must be something in the air. Winston was housed in his kennel only a short time and he covered it and himself in pee. Our housesitter said they took him out to pee just before they put him in his kennel too... |

Aww poor pup...is he still doing ok? No news on what caused so much ...explosion?
My experiance this week with poo isn't so bad....just realizing that feeding tripe is really bad...but it's REALLY bad coming out too! My yard stinks so bad that I was attempting to clean it in the dark this morning before work...bad idea. |

I find that having a good sense of humor is important in many situations when owning a weim. As for the carpets, unfortunately I don't think professional carpet cleaners could do much to tackle the mess. The major problem was that the carpet was very light beige and there was blood in his doodie. I have flashbacks of the initial scene when walking into that room now, so changing it up probably isn't a bad idea. I might have to call a medical waste company to come haul the carpet off! |

Yeah, he's doing fine and loving doggie daycare. Spoiled little *illegitimate child*. No word on what caused the "event" to occur. He was with me all weekend, but with the leaves and other tree stuff falling to the ground right now, there's no telling what he might have slipped down on one of our walks or running around with the neighbors dogs. Next time he has some loose stool in the morning, however, I'm certainly going to raise the "Diarrhea Threat Level" from Yellow (Significant Threat of Diarrhea Attack) to Orange (High Risk of Diarrhea Attack). |

Ew, Sophie went through a couple of bouts of this in her crate. My husband carried the whole thing downstairs and outside. It was such an awful stench and we hosed her off.
We couldn't get the stink off the crate until we got the orange oxy stuff and just soaked it.
You sruvived, just wow. |
