Unfortunately having just joined I have to say Muskett went to heaven this morning to join his brother, Rifle - my Boys are back together again. Muskett was diognosed with pancreatic cancer and diabeties type 2, 2 years ago, early last year he developed cataracts so was going blind but we fought a hard battle to get him to today. He had been ill for over a week and today I knew when I woke up that the Angels and Rifle in heaven needed him more than me, it was time to let him go to a better place and one without pain. Time is a healer, and in time my heart will heal; I also know my Boys will never leave me and I am thankful that I had every day with them both together and alone. Life will never be the same again.
For the first time in 14 years I am without a Boy. I have no idea what I'm supposed to do but I know that I cannot replace them yet, nor will I for at least 12 months. I also know that I will get another Weim, quite possibly 2. I can't imagine life without one (or two).
Meeting you all has been fabulous, you and your dogs are amazing. Long may Weim Addict continue!
