| Our hearts broke yesterday morning when Muffin left us. She was a tiny 9 pound little mixed breed ball of fur. She adopted us September 26Th 1991, she had around 3 homes before, was abused and had horrible separation anxiety and yet...my daughter and I looked at her as though she was made of gold. She was~ My daughter and I reminisced about all the good times and silly moments we had with her, especially the 'CARPET MONSTER'...she used to run around like crazy then the static from the carpet would make all her hair stand on end and she would stand there and smile at us, just so proud of her self that she had made us laugh. The total diva that she was loved baths and getting her hair dried, she knew the routine..jumping on the chair and posed there as she was made 'fluffy' again. As the years passed it was hard to believe how long we had all been together, she and Allie had literally grown up together, through the good and the bad...they had each other. During the last couple of days it was as if Muffin held on to see her Allie one more time, then she went into a deep sleep and passed away. (Allie came home from college before Muffin passed on). As hard as it was I was glad of the timing almost as though that's the way it was supposed to be. |

Once again, I am so sorry for your loss. She is an adorable little girl. I'm glad your daughter got to see her before she went to the bridge.

I'm glad she made it home before Muffin passed and was able to say her goodbyes .. My Mocha held on unitl Hubby came home from work the morning he died .. I called Hubby home and about 20 minutes after he got home Mocha took his last breath
