| I read you post at work yesterday and I got all teary at my desk - had to wait until today to reply. It hurts so badly to lose a beloved pet, I am so sorry for your loss. It sounds like Missy picked the right boy to follow home. |

Thanks so much for all your support.
My father in law, who is typically an unemotional man, cried for some time yesterday. That made me ball of course.
I walked into petsmart today with Hemi (because I can't handle both at the same time) and in walks a female dobie. She looked JUST like Missy.
That was her sign. I know she's crossed over, and she's doing just fine.
Thanks again. |

Well, she (Missy) I think is mocking me now.
Every dog show I've turned on... all have dobermans. |

I love when they give you a sign. When I lost my Rott Baron I freaked out and impulsively got Linkin a week after his passing. The entire time I was looking at the puppies I was asking my Baron for a sign that I would be picking out the right dog for us... a dog that would be just as wonderful as he was. Should I get a Weim or another Rott or something else??? I picked out Linkin, but I didn't get my sign..........until a week later when I got Baron's ashes... the box was in a bag with a big picture of a Weim on it! I knew it was a sign from my Baron and I'll never forget it. I'm glad that you got your sign.... it sure is comforting.
RIP Missy |
