Where is Mika from? (if you want to say) only my girl is also nearly 10 months. We are in Perth |
Thanks everyone, Mika is from a local breeder here in Melbourne, Australia. I was looking at the photos of her mum the other day, they look very similar already.
The playful puppy is still there, just 5 times larger! Looking back it's been a struggle and we do miss the little gremlin from the earlier photos.. All cuddly and innocent one moment, crazy the next! But then again we are quite glad she's maturing and slowly settling down at bit. Makes it difficult for some people to understand that they are just babies still when they are so big at this age. |

It's been a while since an update, but here is a photo we took of yesterday of Mika and a little Japanese Shiba she met at the park. Mika is about 14 months old now and although she was a bit high maintenance for a while there, she's settling down and maturing nicely now. She's very friendly to people and other dogs and loves to hang around and 'help' us in the garden. We've also been going to obedience school for a few months now and she's loving it. We've had to stop doing tracking for a few months, as it's coming into summer here and we're worried about snakes.
