We had such a blast and my Luna did SO well... she has come a long way in the past 6 weeks, I am SO proud of her!!

Sabriel is sooo happy to be out of the city

Luna doing a pheasant track

Luna's getting so good at swimming!

The girls hanging out waiting for Luna's next turn in the field

Everyone cleared out so we let the girls play for a while in the field, they had sooo much fun

I HAVE SOME EXHAUSTED WEIMAS!! Very Happy

Good for you for working with your babies! It's amazing to see these dogs out in the filed and do what they love and were bred to do. We go for our field dog junior test at the end of this month. we are very excited. Our faye alreay has ber NSD and our Trin has her NRD. They love just getting out off leash and having fun

LOVE the pick of yours on teh way home, exhaused Exclamation

That looks like so much fun! I'm so glad that you can do that with your kids.

I haven't found any place to train my dogs in the field. Honestly, I know some guys who go 'coon hunting and I am thinking of taking Scooter out one night with them while they track the dogs. Laughing Would that be a bad option to train him in? I just want to get them out in the field and let them have fun.

The training grounds we were at were actually about 3.5 hours from home - we camped up there this weekend. The grounds I train at on Wednesdays are about 35 minutes from home... I do alot of driving for this girl!

HA! The understatement of the century, I'd say for many of us! Our training grounds are just short of two hours from home, but we just hooked into a group that's pretty active. Here's Sage & Macy this weekend after working hard...

...Macy is the "dead" one. Puppyhood is a high-stress job! Very Happy Very Happy

They do have a ton of fun together... Luna has helped build up Sabriel's confidence and she is not scared of other big dogs any more, I'm so proud of her! Ya know though, there is just something about her that makes me NOT want to keep her... she is a very nice girl, and SO funny and happy, smart too... but I do not foresee a "foster flunky" moment on her!
