Hi everyone.

Tri State Weimaraner Rescue is looking for a home for Dante. Dante is a 9 year old weim who's family decided to move on without him. He is a beautiful boy. His foster mom tells us he is a perfect gentleman (almost unheard of in weims lol). He is good with very young children, other dogs and even cats and other small animals. He loves to play, loves car rides, and eating snow. But he also loves to lay around and be cuddled.

If you have ever wanted a weim but hesitated because of their activity level or training demands, Dante just may be the dog for you.

He is nuetered, UTD on shots and crate trained. He does not counter surf or dig or chew.

The weim picture in your posts looks very much like our logo. Check it out on the bottom of our home page. www.tristateweimrescue.org. Very similar.

Well, look at that! Very similar. That Weim looks a lot like my Dorian in this photo. Smile

I thought so too. The one difference I notice is that you can't see Dorian's tail. But other than that, the photos are very similar.

I noticed it because I have a mouse pad with our logo on it at work, and shirts etc......and I saw Dorian's photo and I kept wondering where I saw that before......

I just hate that this old guy hasnt found a home yet. I'm starting to break down ya know? He may end up in the mountains of upstate N.Y. yet.....LOL!

Pat,

Someone is scheduled to meet Dante on the 29th. She is one of my interviews and I am pretty sure she is going to take him home and he will have his forever home.

Of course, I am hesitant to post until all is said and done. Once I know he is in the home he deserves, I will post a general announcement.

Also, please know that he has been very well cared for in his foster home. Keep you fingers crossed for him.

Well, we will have to wait until Friday for Dante to be placed in his new home.

Apparently, the person that I thought was going to meet him could not make the time or get to where he was and in the meantime a better family was found that is supposed to pick him up on Friday.
