Link update and pics

The guy did drop off what little paperwork he had on Link. Found it in my mailbox. Ready......Link is not 6 months old....he was born on March 9, 2007. He is over a year old Shocked

I officially have, in my possession, the biggest (Jake) and the smallest (Link) weims I have ever seen. I rechecked the SPCA paperwork and it does say he is 6 months old.....I guess they were basing that on his size.

John is guessing his weight at about 45 lbs. We will weigh him today. I also want to get a picture of him next to Jake...the size difference is hilarious.

I had a house full of my son's friends and their babies yesterday and the dogs were wonderful. One of the couples wants to apply to adopt Link, they fell in love with him. He is adorable. They kept say they wished he would stay the size he is....I have to call them today and tell them he will.

He is doing so much better every day. He is a great dog. I spent some time just loving on him this morning and he was in heaven.

I really have to watch him with Silkie now....I felt better thinking he was just a baby.....now I think maybe he is trying to challenge her a little. Not a good thing for Little Link.

Holly is a small girl, she's about 54 pounds too. But Link's a boy!! Shocked

I love Holly's size...I think I prefer the smaller more slender Weims to the large boned, muscular type.

If she was large boned and muscular I'd prefer that type though. Wink

Lynn I still say it, Link and Ashley look very much a like. Same head structure and small size. Does he have a thick oily coat? They are both from the same area, We are really wondering if he and her may be from the same breeder. Obviously not the same age, but maybe one or both parents are the same. Try and find out where he got him from if you can.

here is a picture of her head structure. She was a lot heavier then tho.

Indian,

Link was bred in Barbados.....probably has a lot to do with his smaller size. Also, he does have a smaller head (he's small) but he doesn't look as different as he did at first. I really think his eyes were bugged out and all red because of the collar on him. It was at least 1/8" smaller than his neck. Not to mention the whole "strangling him with the leash thing". His eyes look normal now...not red rimmed. And he still has blue eyes...not the baby blue...but the Bluish yellow that some of them keep. Gunnar and Jake's eyes never really went amber. They have the blue/yellow eyes.

I got some really good pics of him today. Will post very soon. He is precious. I am teaching him to swim. He is doing very well.

I love the blue / yellow eyes. Holly's are like that now. They almost look translucent at times!

Ok, now i am catching up! LALA land here, i was reading posts from last week, LOL! He is just soooo freaking adorable, what i sweet baby (well not a baby anymore i guess Laughing

). I hope the people that you know apply bc i am sure with you knowing them they would be a good fit for him.
