Does this sound oxymoronic?? Our almost 7th month girl is a total lazy bum in the apartment. Outside she is happy to run, play and walk. Inside? All she does is sleep in her big comfy bed...For hours if we let her...! Should I be worried? Or feel lucky??? |

We have a lazy weim too! Calvin is 7 months and loves nothing more than to climb up on the couch and take a looooong nap. He passes out around 7 pm every night - I actually have to wake him up around 9 pm to take him on a walk or else he wakes up too early in the morning!
Personally, I count myself among the lucky ones. On the rare occasions when Cal is hyper inside...I wish for an "off button"!!! |

Minny is ours...she'll find a blankie, chair..whatever. I spent a long time worried that something was wrong with her..then realized ...'that's just Minny"- lazy bones and all. |

I always think WEims are like the Dickens story A Tale of 2 Cities... it was the best of times. It was the worst of times. It was hot. It was cold....
So for Weims:
A TALE of 2 Weimies... They are the best of doggies. They are the worst of doggies. They are calm and lazy. They are hyper and forever busy... |

Both of ours hold the title of CPE (Couch Potatoe Excellent). They are content either way, in or out. As a pup, Chelsea was non-stop all day so consider yourself lucky.
Now, on ocassion I have to leave Chesea outside on nice days, she likes to work on her tan! LOL. She'd lie in the grass all day if I let her, just 'snoozing' away.

Zehen looovvveeessss to sleep. Every so often him and Zuna start playing in the open space in our little living room but for the most part they are couch potatos.
My husband works 3rd shift, and I work during the day, so someone is always asleep at home. Zehen is more than happy to climb into bed with you and stretch out next to you like a person. I think he spends 20 of the 24 hours in a day sleeping. Outside though he's ready to go. He'll chase whatever moves quickly... birds, rabbits, squirrels, leaves- you name it! |

I feel better! I wanted to make sure I didn't have some kind of lethargy issue on my hands!!! It's really amazing too because we live in 750 sq feet (gotta love Manhattan!!!!!) and I had 5+ friends over the other night and they commented on how incredibly well behaved she is. She will come say hi to you be excited, get her belly rubs and pets and then go lay on her gigantic bed and leave you alone until she is called. She does at times, however, love to pounce around the small space we do have throwing her toys for herself and making up games...she's hilarious! Here are some pics of her favorite activity and her favorite toy (snakey the 5 foot snake...)

| I love that bed!! I haven't brought myself to buy Lincoln a "real" bed...I have a "hand-me-down" bed and one that I made myself, but I'd love to get him a nice plush one sometime...where's yours from? |
