Since last Thursday, our little KC kitty has not been well and after talking to the neurologist again today, my vet was concerned that whatever we did for KC the prognosis was grim. My husband and I decided that we didn't want to prolong the inevitable, so we were going tonight to bring KC.
KC always ran our house, she wasn't afraid of the dogs, she could always get someone's attention by meowing until they noticed or scratching on the doors (which annoyed me to no end) She would wake me up for a 3 am snack and we would always laugh because even if she had food in her dish, she always wanted "fresh sprinkles". So it relieved us when she passed away on her own this evening. KC was with us for a month shy of 11 years and we will miss that little ray of sunshine.
RIP KC

I am so sorry about your loss.
KC was a beautiful cat. And I am sure that she knew it! And that she knew how much you love her. These cats, they come into your home and move right into your heart.
Rest in peace, KC. |

Karen, I'm so sorry about KC. That's heartbreaking. She was gorgeous. I wish I could give you a big hug. I'm sure KC is with all "our" weims at the bridge, she's just the one keeping things in order.

She was a pretty girl.
It's always a relief and a different kind of closure when they go on their own. |

I'm sorry about KC.
(I love that name, especially when it's just the letters.)
I know I usually light The Candle for all our doggies, but tonight, in NJ, KC's little light also needs to shine...
† RIP † little kitty. |
