Crying or Very sad So I left Jack alone for an hour or so as I ran out to the grocery store with the kids. I forgot about my glass of raspberry iced tea on the table... and naturally Jack didn't.

I don't know if his nose got stuck in the glass trying to drink the remainding tea (it wouldnt surprise me) or if he knocked it over? But I came home to a house COVERED in blood and broken glass. My heart just broke as I found Jack lying on my bed.

I have to walk through our kitchen to get to my bedroom, and the kitchen looked like a murder scene. There were fragments of glass everywhere, and smears of blood all over my floor, the cabinets, my fridge... etc.

I could just picture my "Jacky no no's" in my head yelping and looking for me as he always does when he gets hurt, and I wasn't there!

The odd part of all of this was that the bottom of the broken glass, was in my room, the remainder of it, was in the kitchen. His front left pad has a horrible cut and his nose has quite a good cut as well. I cleaned his wounds and put liquid bandaid on them... but I just can't for the life of me figure out why the bottom half and no blood was in my room, but the other half of the glass and all the blood was EVERYWHERE in my kitchen. It looked like a crime scene.

So my poor baby is hurt, I feel SO guilty for forgetting about that glass.. especially as I KNOW Jack loves tea... and I just can't figure out what went down!

Lesson learned: Ensure that NO dishes are left out anywhere.

aww poor baby. give him a kiss for me. MUST USE PLASTIC!!! My Stormy's a little "beat-up" right now too. Scraped himself up real bad last week. Nothing a little neosporine and kisses won't fix.

Poor Baby! Sending his hugs. My one cat loves tea and I have to watch him or he will be in my glass and drink it all.

Nothing like a glass of cool refreshing iced tea on a hot day. Even a dog can't resist!

Poor guy, hope he heals quick.

As for the bottom of the glass, could there have been some sugar that settled there and he brought it in the bedroom to lick it clean?

Aw Jack! Poor guy - somehow I don't think the raspberry iced tea was worth it for him. I think I would have had a panic attack if I came home to broken glass, blood, and no dog in sight - you must have very low blood pressure Laughing
