I have no idea what happened to my baby this weekend but when I came home, the left side of his nose was cut. (Lesson learned: dont let the husband dogsit!)
My daughter is convinced he got into a fight with the goofy squirrel that has been tormenting him but it really looks like he got it scraped up by the branches on the tree outback while playing.
I cleaned it up and it looks alright, but I hate to see it open as I worry about infection (Jack can be a total stink butt and loves dirt, mud, anything dirty.. LOL) do i dare put liquid bandaid on it, or would it be safe so long as we keep cleaning it? I just don't want to see any infection! |

| keep it clean keep your eye on it... if it looks infected make sure to call the vet and see what they say... It wouldn't hurt to get him on antibiotics... i would be afraid to seal the infection in with the liquid band aide... |

| Thank You! His nose just looked awful when I got home late lastnight, and typical Jack, he was just sitting on the couch as if nothing happened. It was just another day in the life of Jack!! |

We've been running the band-aid antiseptic cleaner and neosporin (which he trys to lick off) and so far so good. Poor guy I hate to see him hurt. |
