Tomorrow would of been Zane's 3rd birthday....it is really hard to fathom that he did not make it this far. Especially when knowing a dog is supposed to live for many many wonderful years.
This week lets say has not been one of the happiest. The loss of our sweet boy Zane has really taken a tole on us. We miss him so very much.
So I thought we would share some pictures of our boy with all of you that have been so wonderful.
Happy Birthday my sweet boy where ever you are running above us and watching down from heaven...you will always be in our hearts forever and ever....
The last picture is one of Zane two days before we had to put him down....

Zane got sick over one weekend (Sat), we waited till Monday morning to take him in right away as they opened. When he went in they did all sorts of test, did a blood transfusion right away on him that day and then diagnosed him with Immune Meditated Hemolytic Anemia. He stayed at the vet for almost for a week and then the vet released him to come home to see if it would help him feel better to be with us instead of being in the kennel. He got to be with us for a little over a week, he then had a massive seizure that he did not really recoop from and Bill and I decided to make that horrible decision to let him go. It was the hardest thing we had to do.

*Cries* Happy Birthday sweet Zane. We will all think of him tomorrow and send a prayer out to you and the family. i always say everything in life happens for a reason and if zane's story and condition is able to help 1 dog or aid in a diagnosis than his job here is complete

| I really cannot even read the Zane posts any more....sorry. For some reason I took his death very hard and cannot even think about it without the tears flowing. And although I never knew him I feel like I did (I'm sure we all felt that way). So without reading what everyone wrote I would like to say we're thinking of you special boy on your big day! |

Wow...I never got to know what happened to Zane until now. I am SO very sorry for your loss. That is way to young (not that any time would ever be easy to make that decision) but to be so young. That is just horrible.
I bet Zane is having a wonderful birthday with all his buddies at the Rainbow Bridge. Happy Birthday Zane! |
