Thank you all so very much for the birthday wishes for my boy.
There were alot of tears today, and just a unwillingness to settle down for all of us. My boy Wyatt helped me through the day, he kept near me most of the day. Bill said his day went on forever at work, he thought about Zane all day. He still misses coming home to both his boys at the door.
The house is quiet now, Wyatt in on the bed asleep, Maisy on her dog pillow, and somehow I still think that just maybe somehow there will be a little sound of pawsteps on the floor upstairs. We used to like the quietness...not anymore, we can't wait to hear the play growls, the chasing game in the hallway, the running to the back door to go out and the great game of ring around the tree till you are so tired that your tongues hang out.
Anyway...Thanks for all the kind words and just being there for us on this sad day...

| I know what you are going through. We had to put our first weim down after 18 months old! I don't know what you had to go through towards the end, but I can say I know how you feel. Today would have been Wilson's 7th b day! I see you still have a full wonderful family, but I know he will forever be in you heart! I can say it gets a little easier through time, but never will forget your babies face! I bless you and I pray for you! You are in my thoughts and prayers! |

Shannon, I can hardly read your posts because they still make my heart ache to know that you all are hurting so much. I think of Zane very often and try not to cry, but I can't even imagine what you are still going through. I wish that I could just give you, Bill, Wyatt and Maisey the biggest hug ever. I am still thinking about you and still praying for a peace to come to you.
