I can't remember how to put them into my gallery, so posting here. This is Steele from the night we had her overnight. She prefers men. She loved John. Silkie was quite jealous.

She is gorgeous!!!
Funny that you mention that she likes men. Marley loves girls. At the park she will walk up to any girl that looks remotely like me then realize that she has the wrong girl. It cracks me up, and no one else realizes what she is doing. She's a mama's girls for sure. |

That's Scout. Silkie was really kind of mad at her dad for loving another girl. I swear, she wouldn't go near him for a couple of days...lol
She is a bigger girl. We didn't notice because Silkie is a big girl, too. |

| She looks very much like a young Misty. And I am full prepared for the princess to throw a temper tantrum when Steele arrives. But she'll get over herself I'm sure. She is sooooooooooooooooooooo spoiled right now! |

| When Ashley was with Julie, she got along just fine with Blue. Blue was the jealous one........Julie was very fond of Ashley. She told me that of all the dogs she fostered, Ashley was her favorite so far. |

I came across Steele the other night while browsing at rescues. She sure is a beauty! I'm not sure why I do that (go online an look at rescues)? At this point I am in no way capable of handling another but I could so adopt just about everyone of those beautiful creatures! And the little stories that are posted...who writes these things  ?

Steele's ETA here is next weekend. This should be an adventure...two fools alone in my house while I'm at work......Hmmmmmm

Hi all. Steele was safely dropped off at my house this afternoon. John (hubby) says she is even more beautiful than she was six months ago, if that is possible.
Indian is on his way and tomorrow Steel will have the wonderful home she has waited for for so long...... 
I can't wait to meet Indian..it feels like we are old friends. |
